Well its my version of a party. But then again, I tend to be all work and no play. Last weekend a hard working and very dedicated group of volunteers came up to the mountain and helped prepare for the first exercise areas for the dogs. What a surprise for me when I only expected them to get thru one area when they.....GOT THRU FOUR AREAS!! We made some great new friends and if not for them, our dogs wouldn't have a great surprise to look forward to. In the next couple of weeks, everyone will get to see the results of their hard work!

Tia, That's great, I sent 50 dog bowls and I am Tarzan's sponsor, I did this in Honor of my dad, who is passing on any moment now. He was the best breeder and trainer and overall friend to the canine community.
ReplyDeleteSo please accept this in the name of Robert G Richards.
Oh man, do you all know how to party or WHAT? Post hole diggers and all! I know firsthand what hard work that is so High 5s all around for a fantastic job well done!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the new place!!!
ReplyDeleteam so glad your dream home is coming together - i sent a care package to your lifers - some collars and chew toys - a ew weeks ago - hope you got it - maybe you could let me know - i e-mailed jessica about it also
ReplyDeleteMakes me happy I am six hours away, although I know Steve made the journey from San Jose to dig, but still, that looks like hard work! Love the group picture, it's fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI want to thank you, you and your show have taught me so much more about Pit Bulls. My daughter got a Pit Puppy last year and I was one of those ignorant people who beleived all the bad Pit stories (although I always blamed the owners for creating the unstable dogs) Jada won my heart so I really wanted more info on these animals especially when she rescued another one from a shelter with some real isssues. Watching you with your dogs enlightened me and helped me with my Grandpups thank you. Unfortunately the sweet male dog Justice that my daughter has always been dog aggressive with only exception the being Jada, but now he has shown some fear aggression toward small children, my daughter wants to have a baby and is worried that Justice may have to be adopted out, she is looking for someone older who can care for him as the only animal in house. Thank you again and I cant wait til the show starts back up

ReplyDeleteMy son introduced me to Pit Bulls. The one he has is the sweetest dog I've ever meet. It hurts my heart to hear stories of what people like Michelle Vick do with these dogs. I'm thankful to places like VRC who can give these dogs a good home and bring out the best in them. Thank you Tia for the work that you & your whole group do.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great pic Tia...!!! You are doing a wonderful job with the Pits...!!! I wish I was closer to you, because I would volunteer my time to help you and everyone at VRC. I eventually want to get a pit puppy when my dingo-heeler passes on. Shes been in our family since she was just a pup and shes almsot 10 now.
ReplyDeleteTia, Congratulations!, what an accomplishment. My family and I are huge fans of you, the team and your work. Can't wait for Season 3 to begin, and to see the progress in the new Villalobos location. I sponsor Willow, and I am preparing a box with goodies for him. I will email Jessica for the new address. Beatriz

You have an awesome staff in Becky, Mondo and Cameron...they're all really great people. Cant wait to see how everything is going to turn out. We'll see you again soon in a few months!
